- Faculties are not friendly but helpful.

- College students are allowed to enter sports room only after 3pm.
- Lab equipments don't work properly and the labs are not updated, its like living in 2000
- Campus is very small and it includes all engineering, law, business, school.
Course Curriculum Overview
CSE is an emerging field and there are a lot of scopes in future. As I am a first-year student if don't have a clear idea about the college Faculty: student ratio is 1:20. Faculties are good but don't expect to be like IIT or NIT professors.
Placement Experience
Placements have fallen drastically in the last two years and very few companies have visited till now with an average package of 50000. Also, the companies which visited are not famous or big. I don't think even 50% per cent will get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are less about an average 50000 per semester. However, there are no scholarships from the college side (except for West Bengal students, who have tuition fee waiver options from the Bengal government). However it's not about money, it's about the time which you are going to spend.
Campus Life
Fests are not conducted in the college, there are no fresher's parties. But a lot of functions are organised with some dance, music, and drama but those functions are not at the whole college level but are limited to specific branches. Sports & extracurriculars are almost zero. There are a lot of sports activities but those are available for heritage school students and college students are allowed only between 3 pm- 8 pm.
Admission
80% of admissions are through WBJEE (there is no state quota in this college as it is not a government college but an autonomous college affiliated to MAKAUT), 10% of admissions are through JEE Main and the remaining 10% are under management quota. Both WBJEE students and JEE Main students have to apply through WBJEE Counselling
