We have pressure for surprise tests and lab work.
In our institute we have maintain our attendance of 70%
There are few students who rag over juniors.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I love physics and machines. The faculty of our institute are well educated from renowned institutes and have very good experience in teaching. They are also very well-behaved and they are always ready to help students. We have got surprise tests for about 10 marks, every month for each subject from where 3 best of 4 exam numbers will be added in the final semester. And after 4 months we have our semester exams.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 392000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees of our institute are approx. 4 lakhs 75 thousand at the time of admission and 45000? for each semester. We have got an SVMCM Scholarship for West Bengal Students. And we can also apply for education loans.

Campus Life

There are not any annual fests and tech fests. But there are many clubs fests. There are many books in the library, there are not only course books you can also get Bengali and English literature books. The classroom has enough space and a bench for every student. Some of the classroom has AC. We have got free internet connection all over the campus. We have got Cricket, football, basketball, table tennis, Archery.

Admission

You have to clear the WBJEE exam and 50% marks in 12 then with that rank your counselling will be held if you get any branch in the college then you can get admission. The application form and application dates can be found on WBJEE's official website and the course fees can be found on heritageit.edu.in this website. If you are a West Bengal candidate then you can get the benefit of Caste Reservation and TFW. No, I don't think that there's any need for improvement.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
