Course Curriculum Overview

So basically I was interested in the electronic field and through ECE you are eligible for both IT and core companies as well. The faculty members are very friendly especially I can't mention names but the electrical and maths faculty members are very good. Although the chemistry faculty members and humanities members are awesome.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For fee structure, you can check the official site of heritage. As I can remember the 1st semester of my academic year was 72000 and the rest were 45000. This is for my academic year the fee structure changes. So you must check your own.

Campus Life

So here comes the interesting part. There are many clubs for every field like for coding there is GDSC for music there is resonance and there more are for sports, dance etc. But you can choose only 3 of them.

Admission

Hello juniors If you want to pursue btech from Heritage Institute of Technology and know about the process then listen carefully you must appear for either the WBJEE or Jee mains exam (u can take admission through both ). As I have taken admission through WBJEE and my branch is ECE. the cutoff for ECE this year was around 11200 and I am easily into it with a decent rank. You can find the application form at the WBJEE portal. The admission process is smooth you will not face any trouble.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
