Fee Structure And Facilities
The Fee structure is very very nominal. as it is a government college, the fee for one semesters is between Rs 7000 to Rs 12000, depending upon the practical subjects and stream. Being government college even the fine charged from students is way too feasible if compared to other colleges i.e. from Rs. 20 to maximum of Rs. 1000

The scholarship provided by college is basically for students belonging to economically weaker sections only. Theyy are provided with stationary and books as well.

Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility of our Post Graduate Government College-11 is really good. Each room is allotted to 2 students. There are two hostels for Boys and Approx two Hostels for Girls as well. The food served in Hostel mess is really good and cheap i.e. Rs. 40 per meal with unlimited servings.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni of our college are all successful ones in their own fields. Many are Judges ( Including ex CJI of India ), Officers in Defence forces and established Businessmen.
Exam Structure
As per Panjab University Semester system is followed. In BA we have 6 semesters and in each of these semesters the syllabi change. There are 5 subjects in total and 6 subjects if you opt for honours in one of the subjects. each subject carries 100 marks from which 10 marks are internals (except english and punjabi/hcp which have 50marks exam out of which 5marks are internals)
Admission
There is an admission form which is to be filled by the candidate online. Then on the day of counselling you are supposed to bring the form in hard copy along with original documents attached with them. The admission process usually begins in June and ends by the beginning of August month. There are approximately 1200 seats for BA now.
Faculty
The faculty of college is by far excellent as per my 3 years experience here. They are all well qualified for the subject. The interaction is productive and results in a strong academic bond between students and teachers. Both regular and visiting faculty are experts of their field and the need for workshops are also taken into dire consideration.
