Course Curriculum Overview
This is one of the best colleges in West Bengal for studying Computer Science and Engineering. Heritage is an Autonomous college affiliated by MAKAUT. All the Faculties are very well educated and helpful. In Every Semester there are four internal exams and one final semester Exam.
Internships Opportunities
There is a good internship opportunity in this college. IBM, Ardent, TCS many companies offered internships to the students. These internships are available in offline and virtual mode. Many Industrial Training is also provided by companies.
Placement Experience
Placement in Heritage is quite good. Many well-known companies like IBM, Pwc, EY, Grant Thornton, and LTI came to campus. The Highest package is 10 LPA and the average package is 6-7 LPA. About 80% of students are getting placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The admission fee is about 70000. For all the other Semesters the fees are about 46000. Students can get Scholarships like Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship. Placement in heritage is also good many well-known companies like IBM, PWC, EY, Grant Thornton, etc. are coming.
Campus Life
The Campus is very good. The Library is very big and fully air-conditioned. Books and Journals are available in the Library. There are many clubs for extracurricular activities. There is a Dance club named Ghungroo and a photographic and painting club named Pravasana.
Admission
You have to qualified joint Entrance Examination conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board or JEE Main conducted by the central Board of Secondary Education and recommended by the WBJEE Board 80% of seats to be filled from qualified WBJEE candidates, 10% from qualified JEE Main candidates and 10% under Management Quota for candidates having valid rank cards of WBJEE/ JEE Main. An additional intake of 10% of the approved intake in the 2nd year Lateral Entry from Diploma holders through JELET was conducted by the WBJEE Board. The application form, application dates, and application fees are available on the Heritage College website. All other necessary documents that are required for the admission process are also mentioned on the Heritage website. The cutoff for the General Category to take admission in Computer Science and Engineering is 3000-4000. The admission process at Heritage Institute of Technology is taking place in a very systematic way any improvement is not required in the admission process.
