Remarks

as mentioned college lacks behind in only two areas one is placements and other is hostel for students. everything else is good for college life

Entrance Preview

i took MHT-CET in which my score was around 90-95 and got this college through CAP rounds(CAP round is procedure by which colleges are allotted ap per merit ranks)

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

as college is affiliated to pune university syllabus and exams go as per university schedule.pune university is wel known and one of the best state university is india. theory syllabus is good to get the conceptual knowledge and pune university practical exams and practical syllabus are best in my perspective. practicals helps us to use our theoretical knowledge in practical applications and examples.

Internships Opportunities

yes, college arrange internships for those who have aggregate score of 60% till 6th semister. some internship are paid and some of them are unpaid. and if you get internship on personal level college faculties and administration is more than happy to help you in your attendance and other activities.

Placement Experience

2.5

placements is the only section i feel bad about this college, it is not like they don't provide any placement platform for students but it is very less as compared to college standards and requirement. students having 60+ aggregate are allowed for maximum companies and other had to go for off campus drives. maximum of the companies coming to college are either sales or BPO companies. TOP PACKAGE- 4 to 5 lpa Avg. package- 3 +/-25k

College Events

3.5

in the first semester of the year, there are departmental events arranged by every department. in every semester each class has two industrial visits. and in second-semester college has its biggest event called alacrity and this five-day event will give you chance show up your educational and artistic skills to the huge crowd of your college and people coming from other colleges also. there are some other small activities arranged by NSS group. and there is cricket league arranged by the college. one more event is there for the sport called inter-department sports event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

fees for general category goes upto 1 lakh 25 thousands and for other categories it's below 50 thousand. and for category candidates there are some scholarships awarded by state government so its not much expensive compared to some other colleges in the city

Fees and Financial Aid

i think there is no seperate scholarship and loan facility offerd by college. all the scholarship that are available are state government funded scholarships which are available for category candidates and there is one scholarship for teachers son/daughter. college administration should work on providing more scholarships to students who genuinely need one.

Campus Life

4

college have best crowd compared to many other colleges in area. we have students from mainly maharashtra, and other states like J&K, MP, UP,punjab etc. we have many extracurricular activities areanged by cultural department, sports department and NSS. for example street plays, sports competitions, and debates and seminars for every engineering branch.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

hostel is another feature which is missing from college. this college has only 25 candidate hostel for girls and no hostel for boys. canteen service is pretty good, infact college has 2 canteen area. and food quality in canteen is good. if college location is considered it is hard to have a college hostel in this area.

Alumni/Alumna

college have alumni meet every year, and as i know college keep contacts with alumnus, and have pretty large alumni network working across different sectors in industry.

Exam Structure

exams are completely based on university pattern and ther is different examination structure for different year( FE,SE,TE,BE). for FE and SE ther are 2 online mcq test in semister each of 25 marks and combining them it's 50 marks and end sem exams are of 50 marks. and for TE and BE there is one mid sem theoretical exam of 30 marks one end sem exam of 70 marks. practical exams are for SE TE and BE.

Admission

i got admission in this college through MHT-CET CAP rounds. getting admission through CAP round is 3 step process 1- document verification at ARC center 2- filling college choices in online form 3- after getting alloted, confirming admission at college desk.

Faculty

3.5

college has 6 engineering branches and 1 is for engineering science. every department has 5-6 senior professors who are either PhD or pursuing their PhD. and other assistant lectures are postgraduates (i.e ME). both teaching and non teaching staff is friendly and helpful they will help you in your problems and sometimes they participate in students fun activities also.

During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
