Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because this is my dream course. All the faculties are not permanent but there is a faculty for each allotted subject. Faculties have done Ph.D. or M.Tech and teaching is good. Exams are generally taken on time. It's very easy to pass the exams, you just have to fill in the pages of your exam copy.
Placement Experience
The average placement is 3.5 LPA. The highest package is 54 LPA which is off-campus. 80-90% of students get placed. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and other companies visit for placement. If you want a higher package then you have to apply off-campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for every branch is 68000 but for the IT branch, you have to pay an extra 15000. This is only the academic fee including the Hostel fee. You have to pay 20000 separately to access mess food. Getting a Scholarship is pretty easy but it takes time.
Campus Life
Campus life is very good, students in KNIT are very supportive and live as a strong family. Fests and Cultural programs occur frequently in a year. Seniors are very supportive in the college. There are various clubs and councils like Photography club, sports club, Cultural council, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are average and you have to compromise a little with the facilities. The water supply is good. One seater room for the final year, 2 seaters or 3 seaters for the third year, and 3 seaters for the second and first year.
Admission
Students were taken on the basis of the JEE Mains entrance exam. Students have to fill counseling form at the UPSEE website and select the college and branch according to their priorities of college and interest.
