There are very high skilled teachers and very friends they are
The instrafructure is also so good ans the lab are maintained
There are many sports present in college like cricket volleyball etc

Dislikes

The location is very bad its 2 km from ruby hospital
The timing for 1st yesr very frustrated its 9_4
They dont conduct any tech fest cuktural fest

I choose this course because Job opportunities in it sector and govt sector are more Faculty:student ratio is1:16 And the teachers are very high qualified They completed their mech from jadhavpur university

Class Size: 192Course Fees: INR 393000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Their is no any fess hike from last 7_ -8 years and the course fees is same 393000 And the cost of living is very low And the scholarship is present which is swami vivekanand for west bengal student for economical weekend sector

Campus Life

Their is no any tech fest no any cultural even they don't take the freshers which is very disappointed There is many sports like kabaddi cricket badminton volleyball football table tanis table tennis

Admission

The admission process was pretty good I took admission from wbjee I got 8.6k rank .Campus is very big and the seniors and the teachers are very supportive and helpful. Many workshop and events are there and also we have many clubs for extracurricular activities

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
