Course Curriculum Overview
I was very much interested in Computers so I chose CSE. As I already told you the gender ratio was very bad it's like 15:1. The faculty is good. As I am a first-year student we got new faculty. But they are rocking. But it's Btech no one gonna give any BHAU to the classes. Exams are like occur every month. The difficulty is average up to 1st year.
Internships Opportunities
As I am in my first year I don't know quite much about internships. As per my knowledge and seniors' talks. It's not that tough to get an internship if you have good grades and skills. Internships are not that tough to get from a college of national importance.
Placement Experience
Yeah, the most awaited and wanted part of the whole review. The PACKAGE To your surprise (and mine too) the highest package of the year(still ongoing) was 95LPA from the ECE core branch. So it's not the branch that always matters. It's the skills. The average is 14 LPA which is quite good when compared to other colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are absolutely high considering it's a university of national importance. But still, you got a couple of fee waivers. You can easily avail an education loan. As a senior, I recommend you prefer Can Bank over SBI Bank. Canra is way more hassle-free than you can think. And it gets approved way too fast
Campus Life
We have two institute events every year. One is a technical fest named 'Tantra Fiesta' which was pretty exciting and another one is 'Abhivyakti' which is a cultural fest and is gonna take place in February so I am unaware of it. The library provides enough books to meet your requirements. We have also got an online library. Classrooms are fully AC equipped. And we have got good WIFI connectivity and speed in academic building.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel block is on ten floors. The strength is increasing constantly. So there was a cut down of strength of no. of students intake into a hostel. Luckily I have got a seat in the hostel. Mess is totally veg. But the food is good. Sometimes it may suck.
Admission
The process of admission was flawless. The institute was very friendly and helpful. They helped me out in every aspect. After the completion of the admission process and thorough check of documents, they gave me my institute ID card and allowed me a room in the hostel room. There were two types of hostel rooms. One is a four-seater and the other is a two-seater. Choose wisely if you like to take your studies seriously, I highly recommend you choose two seater cause a four-seater would be much more noisy than you would expect. The bathrooms are well and not bad. We have a gym, with some equipment and an open gym too Coming to the mess I have bad news for some of you guys, the mess is purely veg. But you can get nonveg food just in front of the institute gate. The veg mess is not that bad.
