My experience in my college of 3 months.

Basically, my motive is to get a better branch in a good college and IIIT Nagpur is one of the best platforms in which I could get into this. The branch faculty are very impressive and they support and work according to our needs they understand each and every student and they are available 24*7. All the faculties are highly educated each one is better than the other most of them are educated from IITs and nits. This is the main question each sem has 2 sessions and an end sem and here is the competition quite good and they ask us very good level questions and this becomes it very interesting to be solved.

Yes the college provides huge internship offers many of the internship offers are made by 3rd year and 2 nd year students. But this also provides many programs and webinars for 1st-year students to get into internships. And many of them have gotten into it.

From 7 or 8 sem students are eligible for placements. Companies visited like Flipkart, Google, Amazon, Snapdeal, Infosys, Wipro, etc. Having a large no. Of offers. Yes, the percentage of students getting placed is quite good appx. 80 percent of students getting placed and this graph is still increasing. My plans after getting the degree are to get a good job and then to improve in that field.

The course fee is quite higher than NITS and other IIITS but this doesn't hamper us due to goose faculty. It has a scholarship called NPS which varies from state to state. Yes, it offers various internship programs like IBM, etc. with a stipend.

It offers two fests one is abhivyakti the cultural fest and the other is the Tantra Fiesta the tech fest of approximately 3 days. The Library length is quite good with a no. Of books of 600 appx. And a reading room of twice the length of the library. Yes, it has basketball, cricket, and football grounds and provides equipment for all the indoor and outdoor games. It has social groups and clubs like Orator, pahel, GDS, Dot Slash, and many more. These all clubs are majorly run by the students.

Yes, the facilities provided in the room are basic like the other hostel does. It has 2 types of rooms 4 seater and 2 seater. The room length is quite sufficient and has the availability of land and electricity, water 24*7. Meal quality is quite impressive has salads and crunches included in the meal. The hostel fee is quite abnormal the 4 seater is 108000 and 2 seater 123000. Beside this at a distance ranging 4 -5 kms it has rented rooms also.

Admission is thru the entrance exam i.e. jee mains. With a cut-off of 95-97% for branches like ECE and ECE+ iot. And a cut-off of 97-98 % for Cse and its specialization. Then we have to fill out JoSAA/csab counseling forms to get into these. Then if you get into this college in any round of counselling and you opt for the freeze option then u should see the admission details and form that you will get. It's official website. The improvement that I wanna see in the admission process is the application form is too lengthy and complicated means you have to fill in all the details very carefully. And for this reason, it took a lot of time to fill up.
