The teaching is good as the faculty are from iits and nits
The curriculum followed by this college is very good.
The infrastructure of this college is very good.

Dislikes

The hostels are some what old.. so the hostels are not that much good
The hostel food is also not good. We are paying much fees for mess but that didn't match our expectations on food.
The student strength is very low here the number of seats can be increased.

I am interested in electronics and wireless communications I have chosen this course. The student-faculty ratio 40:1. The qualification of the faculty is good. They have graduated from renowned IITs and NITs and some have graduated from foreign universities. There are three exams for a semester and they are mid1, mid2, and mid3 which will happen once every month.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is a bit high. There are some scholarships available for students. If any state provides fee scholarships for their state students those students can avail of them by applying for those scholarships. National scholarship policy and some others. There are no campus jobs available for students.

Campus Life

There will be two fests every year one is tech fest which will happen in November. The name of the tech fest is Utkrishta and the annual fest will be conducted in March, the name of the annual fest is Abhisarga. There is a Library in this college. You can find journals and books In that library. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors and the classrooms are well equipped with speakers. And there are AC classrooms too. In our college, there are inter IIITs sports and intra IIITs sports where you can play different types of sports. There are extracurricular activities in this college which are conducted very often. There are many clubs in this college and there are no websites which are run by students.

Admission

You need to qualify in jee mains and you should score the minimum marks required to get a seat in that particular course. There are no applications nothing. You just need to appear for JEE Mains. Yes, there are reservation benefits too in this college. If you have any reservation you can apply through your reservation for admission. The present process of admissions is good which happens through josaa counseling and csab special rounds you can apply for counseling if you have an eligible score.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.

I chose IIITS over other academic institutions, Good Faculty, Worthy Placements, Good Campus Environment, Fees which is lower than other colleges like VIT/SRm. I couldn't get into Other Top Colleges NIT Trichy- Missed Cutoff by a small margin due to category-wise seats, IIIT Hyd - Didnt apply.
