Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the ECE department because my rank lies between the rank required for the ECE department. ECE course is also a good course for getting internships and placements. The faculty and student ratio is 1:32. Faculty members are very nice. And their teaching methods are very nice.
Internships Opportunities
To get a good internship you have to build good skills in programming and communication. Here many companies come with internship opportunities but not all students get this. Only highly skilled students get selected. TCS, Wipro like a company provides internships here.
Placement Experience
For college placement, you have to get a CGPA above 7.5, For many companies you require a good CGPA. After 6th or 7th semester companies come to our campus to give placement. There are about 90 percent of students get placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Course Fee of Heritage Institute of Technology is about 1lakh 15 thousand per year. As compared to other private colleges of West Bengal here fee is not so high. A scholarship facility is also available here.
Campus Life
The campus of our college is not large. Our college campus is spread over 10 acres. Many fest and sports facilities are also available here. Here a large library with lots of books is available. In our classroom 64 students are present. Cricket, badminton, football, and athletic clubs are available here.
Admission
If you want to get admission in the ECE department in HIT then you have to give an entrance exam Wbjee and you have to get a rank of around 5k-9k. For the Wbjee exam, you can go on the Wbjee website and then click on the link of the application form. The wbjee application fee is about 500 rupees only. The application date will be released in the month of December or January.
