Course Curriculum Overview
CSE department is all about computer programming and projects. For getting this course i have to give hard work for securing a good rank in Wbjee. And then I get CSE department in HIT. Here faculty members are too good. They teach us many things which will help us in internship and placement. Faculty are highly educated and there teaching methods are also too good.
Internships Opportunities
For CSE students computer programming is very important. And if you want to intern in good companies then you have to give your best efforts in getting a knowledge of programming. Many companies will give you an internship opportunity if you are skilled. Many projects are given to you in your internship period.
Placement Experience
There are many companies visited in our college for placement. After 6-7th semester placement will start. For good package you have to score CGPA above 8. The average package of our college is about 5lakhs. Many companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc, want CGPA above 7.5 . There is about 80-85 percent students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
In HIT course fee is average as compared to other private colleges. We have to pay 1.15lakhs per year. If you are from poor family then you have to do hard work and secure a high score and then you got a scholarship which will help you in your college fee. State government also give an educational loan at lowest rate.
Campus Life
Our college campus is spread in 10 acres. In this less area there is a 3-5 building are present which is named as CME, ICT, CB,etc. There is also a big playground. But a disappointing thing is that there is only one playground used for cricket and football both. Sports clubs, extra curricular activities are also here. There are two canteens present in college campus one is named as laber canteen and one is main canteen.
Admission
CSE is top course as we all know and I get this course after getting a good rank in Wbjee exam. For get admission in this course first of all you have to give an entrance exam Wbjee which is held by West Bengal to get admission in institute which is present in West Bengal. For CSE core branch you have to score a rank in between 3k-6k.
