Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical engineering in Heritage is great and one of the most opted courses in Heritage. I was having interest in practicality of physics thats why i opted for mechanical engineering. Faculty to student ratio is great here, it would be around 1:10. All the faculties are well qualified, they have either completed their PhD or are in the process so they are well qualified. The term exam will happen on time and you have to work hard to pass the exam as the exam process is very strict here so you can not pass with just one night of study.
Internships Opportunities
I was placed in Cognizant where I have done the intership with a good stipend. Many of the students have done internships at Amazon. there they have got a great stipend so overall I can say that it will provide you internship, don't worry.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is: 45000 - First Year 46000- Second Year 47000- Third year 48000- Fourth Year There is no scholarship but you will get the campus job that's for sure so if you are choosing the college according to ROI then you can opt for it without any doubt.
Campus Life
I can assure you that you will get one of the best campus life here. We have ground, canteen, auditorium, chilling spot everything which you can find in any good college. We have a great library and all the kinds of books you will find there. We organise sports month every year and other than that you can participate in regular matches. We have social clubs like Rotaract, Dance club, Fashion club and all the clubs which are generally there in a college.
Admission
To gain admission here, We have to give WBJEE and have to score a decent rank under 10000 then you can easily get admission here. I have done BTech in Mechanical Engineering which was 4 year course. To give Wbjee you have to register on Wbjee's official site and the form will cost you 500 appx. There are reservations if you are from Bengal and from the backward category I have not opted for reservations so I don't have that much idea about it. The admission process was smooth so I don't think there is any change needed in the admission process.
