Likes
- Faculty - The faculty members are decent and most of them have good knowledge in their subject
- Equipment- The equipments here are decent , practicals go smoothly.
- Library- the library is really well mantained and has a lot of helpful books for the students to study or refer from.
Dislikes
- Fest - There are no fests ,like the other colleges have.
- No Student council - There s no student council which could have fought for the students rights, could have encourage more extracurricular activities in the college.
- Small campus and a really bad location far away form main city of kolkata
Course Curriculum Overview
I aspire to be a software engineer and that is why I chose this course. Faculty to student ratio is healthy and the teaching of some particular professors is good, some not. Semester exams are held once in 6 months, outside that we are given suprise tests ranging from easy to moderate difficulty
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees here is nominal, not too much if you consider the fees of other pvt colleges providing the same course . Since I am a first year I haven't got any internship or on campus job to begin with . But as far as I know, it's better to develop your own skills and land a good internship than trusting a third tier college
Campus Life
This is what Heritage lacks, there are no annual fests here because of some violence that happened some years ago on a fest. The clubs too are just for names . The college shows really less support to the extra curriculur activities and that is why the campus life is really boring, no creavity or other things, just study
Admission
The admission process was held smoothly In the college itself and the professors were helpul and kind. The entrance examination to get admission in this college is mainly WBJEE though some seats are reserved for JEE candidates. The application process, date, fees are given in the college site.
