- Faculty - faculty is helpful and know their subject
- Course fee is less compared to other colleges .
- It has a good library with the right amount of books for one to study .
Dislikes
- Extracurricular activities are not encouraged neither supported , and neither the fests happen.
- The campus , most of the ground come under the heritage school and not the college , and we have to bring our own sports equipments
- Location of the college is not good , far away from the main Kolkata city .
Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed the course btech cse because I aspire to be a software engineer and have genuine interest in coding. The college mantains a healthy faculty:student ratio . Most of the faculty here is helpful and have good knowledge over the topics they teach though there are some exceptions . The semester exams are conducted after 6 months and in betweens we're provided with surprise tests ranging from easy to moderate levels .
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is less, affordable compared to the other pvt colleges which provide the same courses .The total 4 year course fee is around 5 lakhs . The concern here is that if one wants a good placement or good internships , they can't trust such third tier colleges for sure and should work hard on their own
Campus Life
There's no fest held in heritage due to violence in the past that had happen on a fest day . Basic amenities are present there in the class. Sports are okay, but the extracurricular activities in heritage are not supported much. The clubs exist for just names , and really have no power at all .
Admission
The application process was smooth , the faculty were helpful throughout the process . The application and other documents are to be issued from the wbjee website , and one can easily have the cutoff lists from the net .
