- CAMPUS IS VERY BEAUTIFUL, lush green and in a clean environment.
- FEES is not that much high, if you can afford then , only go for cse.
- Canteen food is good and classroom are also very well maintained and labs too.
Dislikes
- Faculty student ratio. Very bad , 1:70 , u cant direct contact your faculty. And faculty are not that much educated
- No. of campaines visited are very low. No good companies came in campus. Only TCS WIPRO.
- Student are also not that much motivated for future and study , they all just enjoy and do gangster like acting.
Course Curriculum Overview
Because in engineering placement are only in computer science, so i opt for this and i know C++ till advance level , so just i need a btech degree. Faculty student ratio 1:70. Most them are just btech passed out and some of them are studying mtech in gd Goenka itself. Not too much qualified. Teaching Method is just ok , not that much good. Exams are every 2 months , but level is very easy , u will pass exams just by studying 1 day before.
Internships Opportunities
For internship too TCS , WIPRO , INFOSYS came.role.is just consulting. And simple software handling. No project needed to get a internship. You will easily get with a stipend of 5k per month. U will go for off campus, its near GURUGRAM, u may find there alot of opportunities.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester companies came for placement. Companies visited are mostly early startups and TCS , wipro bulk hiring companies. I think highest is 17lpa.and avg is 3lpa. Out of batch of 100 students 40-50 students get placement. I will do masters from IIT.
Fees and Financial Aid
No there is no fees hike policy. U will get a broucer in that fees is already mentioned with date , when you have to pay. Cost to atudy is approx 3L per annum. I got no scholarship, and GD GOENKA doesn't provide any kind of scholarship.
Campus Life
ANNUAL FEST is REVA , and it happens in the month of OCTOBER. Library is good with a very spacious and silent environment. And almost all engineering books are available there. Classroom are like theater, and fully air conditioning is there. No extra curricular activities are there only study study, and cry for attendance. There are many clubs but just for name , in them they do nothing for self improvement.
Hostel Facilities
ALL basic facilities are available, like bed cupboard, table for study, common fridge , washing machine. Meal is just ok ok. Not that much good. Registration process is done with admission, they will ask you , you want or not hostel .Hostels are very costly , for 2 seater approx 2 Lakh fees and for 1 seater 3 lakhs of fees. You will find lot of PG near University in SOHNA . most famous SARPANCH PG.
Admission
For admission eligibility is just 12th pass , just 60%, marks and a lot money required. On their website you will find its application fees and application dates. No reservations is there in GD GOENKA UNIVERSITY. I think admission process may be on some exam basis not on just, 12th marks.
