Course Curriculum Overview

Because I am interested in coding and program development. I have an interest in learning new things about programming languages. Our faculty members are highly professional and supportive. Term exams are difficult to pass.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided online only. Many coaching centers provide free classes for gate exams. Online internships provide a stipend of 10000 onwards. Projects are done in the third and fourth years. Internship guidance is not good.

Placement Experience

During the third year the students become eligible for campus placements. There are many opportunities for the students in various departments. 80% of the students are placed every year. I wish to be placed in Microsoft.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure ranges from 35000 to 100000. Egrantz scholarship facilities are provided for the students. Our college provides campus placements in various companies throughout India and outside India.

Campus Life

Every year our college conducts a national level tech fest named Quasso Liberum. It is conducted during even semesters. There are many books available in our library for students. The sports activities are conducted annually.

Admission

I have joined this college through the KEAM exam. The Application form is provided by the college offline and the fee is paid to the college. Reservation benefits are provided for SC, ST, and OBC.KEAM ranks above 10K are selected.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

I got into this college through KEAM entrance exam.For KEAM you need to have 50% or above percentage in +2.For qualifying KEAM you need atmost 10 marks.If you have qualified KEAM you can go through allotment process and apply for your favourable colleges.i got around 40k rank in KEAM and applied to many colleges for CS and IT.
