Good infrastructure of the college and good classes
The projectors available in all classes.
College provide college bus for day scholars.

There is no department wise Library for students
The fee paid by the students is some what high
The equipments provided in the labs are old amd damaged

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to improve my knowledge. And i want a degree for a better job and for higher educations. The maximum strength of a class is 60 but in my class there is 57 students and the majority of lateral entry students.Highly qualified teachers and they are B-Tech, M-Tech graduates. They provide a beter class for us.

Class Size: 57Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College provides better intership opportunities for the students. Intership program provided for students for two months and two weeks.The projects depends on the companies. Certificates are provided for the intership

Placement Experience

Final year students are eligible for the campus placements. The college provide better placement options for the students. Previous year Hilite builders and one more company visited and almost 5 students placed at the companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here the fees 45000 per year. I have the E Grantz scholarship.And I applied for it. It's help full to me and other students coming from average and below average family. The college provide placement for final year students.

Campus Life

In this college i am a fresher so i get only few programs.previous year the college union conducted a tech fest named Quasso Libriam, and arts fest etc. The text books, journals and other study materials are available in our library

Admission

Eligibility of the course is Diploma. The application process is through online also the fee paid through online. I am in the reserved category OBC. I have the scholarship for this reserved category. No improvements i want to see in the admission process.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

I got into this college through KEAM entrance exam.For KEAM you need to have 50% or above percentage in +2.For qualifying KEAM you need atmost 10 marks.If you have qualified KEAM you can go through allotment process and apply for your favourable colleges.i got around 40k rank in KEAM and applied to many colleges for CS and IT.
