I like the college campus program classes and the overall appearance
I like the overll campus very much and beauty

Dislikes

The bus facilities is very poor so students feels some difficult to get college
Some benches are placed so students can sit and enjoy

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I like btech in civil the faculty members are enough for the students all the teachers have completed mtech and some of them completed Ph.D. The exam was coming very fast and it was very difficult to pass

Class Size: 5Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very high per yr 40000 fees and the exam fee is high I don't get any scholarship because I am in the general caste and I have the right to get e-grants but I am admitted through spot and so I didn't get an allotment memo so I can't able to apply

Campus Life

The annual feat is very nice all the programs are coordinated beautifully and the students participated superbly. The library is very large all the subject books and journals are available in our library. Nss and some other groups in our college

Admission

I am writing a lateral entry examination for Btech admission. I got the application form and details from the college itself. I have the right to get egrants but am joining through spot admission so I don't get an allotment memo That is why I can't able to apply for egrants

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I got into this college through KEAM entrance exam.For KEAM you need to have 50% or above percentage in +2.For qualifying KEAM you need atmost 10 marks.If you have qualified KEAM you can go through allotment process and apply for your favourable colleges.i got around 40k rank in KEAM and applied to many colleges for CS and IT.
