Course Curriculum Overview
I preferred botany because I have been interested in plants and their study and their economical uses. There are scopes like forensics, and research other than teaching. The faculty members of the college consist of professors and lab staff. There are 6 to 8 professors provided per batch. Most of the professors have Ph.D. degrees and all the professors have master's degrees. They use every equipment and instrument available in the college. The exams are semester based which is average to pass.
Internships Opportunities
I haven't applied to on-campus Internships. But there are a lot of internship opportunities. The internship is eligible for bona fide students of the college with no back paper in previous exams. Every year students are eligible to do internships. It will be an offline internship and it has many learning aspects. The stipend for the same is 5k or more.
Placement Experience
My college provides placement opportunities in the final year of graduation. Even a society ' The Placement Cell' acts as a bridge between the company and students. The average placement was 7.90 lpa this year. The placement process includes thorough selections by different tests.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for every course are up to 25,000 in accordance with the field of study. There are a lot of scholarship opportunities and internship opportunities provided by the university. I haven't availed any of the scholarships. The scholarship is based on merit cum need. There are internship opportunities as well with a stipend of 5k or more.
Campus Life
There are a lot of social gatherings, competitions, and festivals. There are NAAC visits, Diwali mela, ethnic day, freshers, farewell, food fest, holi celebration, sports day, and many more interesting activities. The classrooms are well equipped with a blackboard, projectors, tube lights, benches, etc. The library is well equipped with lots of reference books with editions. There are a lot of societies in the college which include drama society, music society, dance society, motivational society, and many more.
Admission
I was admitted to the course by merit-based system. There were 5 cut-offs for the same in which the minimum percentage for each category was mentioned. The percentage was calculated from 3 main subjects and 1 language subject. But presently, CUET is held every year. Application form, application dates, and fee structure for the same can be found on the official website of Delhi University.
