Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I took computer science in the 12th grade and I am interested in coding too. The faculties are good and they help us to learn portions easily. There will be 2 series of exams in which these marks are used to calculate internal marks.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 41500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are merit seats with academic fees of 41500 and management seats with 75000 fees and NRI seats with 1 Lakh fees. Students are eligible to get scholarships based on each scholarship criteria and My college provides many scholarships to students to help them in academics.

Campus Life

The college campus is also good with extra co-curricular activities and helps students to get relief from the stress of academics. The college conducts a lot of webinars and tech-fest that help students to gain activity points. The college library is good.

Admission

The admission process was a short and comfortable one because of the staff out there. The application forms will be provided by the college and they will guide us. I joined in the merit seat writing the Keam entrance exam.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is lakhs relevance to modern industry demands. while it covers the basics there is minimum focus on practical skills emerging technologies and real world applications overall, the courses not comprehensive enough.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I got into this college through KEAM entrance exam.For KEAM you need to have 50% or above percentage in +2.For qualifying KEAM you need atmost 10 marks.If you have qualified KEAM you can go through allotment process and apply for your favourable colleges.i got around 40k rank in KEAM and applied to many colleges for CS and IT.
