Since college is located in hill top. Reaching here is litle difficult

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum seems good to me. The faculty members are also very experienced and friendly. I chose this course Computer Science Engineering because it was very demanding in the engineering field. Faculties have enough qualifications like post-graduation and doctorate. Term exams are a little difficult to pass. It will be better to include more extracurricular activities.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite reasonable and affordable. All government, all private Scholarships are applicable. The campus also provides financial assistance to children who are excellent in their studies and have poor living conditions. I am now receiving MCM scholarships.

Campus Life

Campus life is not too satisfactory. Social life is not too well among children. Clubs and associations are actively working in colleges. Like IEEE, IEDC, CSI. annual fests and technical fests are happening every year. Sports and extra extracurricular activities are actively occurring.

Admission

The admission was very smooth. I completed Higher secondary education and passed the KEAM entrance examination as eligible for this engineering course. Application forms were available in the online portal. There were no application fees. The admission process was very convenient.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

I got into this college through KEAM entrance exam.For KEAM you need to have 50% or above percentage in +2.For qualifying KEAM you need atmost 10 marks.If you have qualified KEAM you can go through allotment process and apply for your favourable colleges.i got around 40k rank in KEAM and applied to many colleges for CS and IT.
