Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in artificial intelligence and I took this as a good Career option although teachers are very friendly and are ready to clear my doubts they are very good at helping teachers with good character. Our teachers are very well-known in each subject. Nowadays our University are trying to end the semester in 3 months so it is a little difficult to follow up the syllabus

Steer our college provides an internship about full stack development. My friends attended the internship and they said it was really good and helped them to gain knowledge. I also conducted an internship in our college. It was really good and interesting.

Placement Experience

The college provided good campus placement. Companies include tcs, acabus visit our college. They also offer a 4 lac per year salary package. Most of these students get campus placement but it is difficult to get a job letter from the company

Fees and Financial Aid

I got a scholarship from our department. It is easy to banish the fee structure and our college provides financial assistance like education loans. Our college also provides campus jobs and placements with a good salary package for freshener

Campus Life

Our college every year conducts college day, arts day and also sports day. Our tech fest is called tharang. Also have a cricket team, football team basketball team and many other sports teams. Our college English IEDC, CSI and NSS clubs

Hostel Facilities

You pay 5000 per month. Our college food is good and within a Neat room. Our hostel is very street strict. Questioning our basic rights and freedom. Forcing us to attend their worship and follow their belief. If we raise our voices they will punish us.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

For the admission process, I took the team entrance exam and scored a rank of 18000. Yeah, then 6 hours little tough Including chemistry physics Maths. Set password for every category I did not get any reservations. Asian form was in the KTU University site

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I have only applied to this college. One of my friend who was studying in this college suggested me this college. Because of my KEAM mark, I didn't get other government colleges for CSE. Then I see a better option for CSE was Jyothi. Heard that lot of placements there for CSE at Jyothi. Thats why I applied here. The admission process was quite simple for me. JECC is not for the weak.

As my college doesn't promote any festivals or celebrations its top most priority is to provide quality education to their students. I got many reviews from my school teachers and seniors about this college and decided to join. The admission process is very simple. Good Campus and enjoyed the time in there.

We had a common exam for the admissions. And the rank in the exam determines which college we get to study. I was trying to get into the government college. But didn't had enough rank to get the set. This i got into Jyothi engineering college Thrissur according to my rank. Couldn't apply to other colleges because the system works like that. If we get any college we should join there. The real review

Actually when I was writing my boards I paid 10000 and they asked me to block myself a seat. They kept two conditions two score above 85 percentage in 12th and keam should be qualified.i happened to get both so after that I went back to college they gave me a check list of documents to bring for registration. I bought those they registered me in. And after that we registered for the uniform and then the hostel and then we talked with the teachers in my department that was pretty much about my admission my admission went really smooth.it was really smooth and easy i didn't go through any trouble or delay....Read More
