Entrance Preview

Kerala State Entrance test. Good rank institution started in 1960s. Good teaching staff. Premier institute in Mahatma Gandhi University, one of the main Universities in Kerala.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well qualified and well experienced professors in most of the departments. Lab facilities were good. Structural Engineering Lab, Geotechnical Lab, Survey Lab, Hydrology lab, Computer Lab, Transportation Lab, Environmental Lab all facilities were very good.

College Events

Arts festival (Sargam)Sports -Technical Seminars. Participants from various universities in IndiaInter collegiate football tournaments.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not Aware of any such scholarships. For first rank holder they are providing cash prize. PTA also contributing some prizes.

Campus Life

Campus life was great. Hostels celebrated most of festivals and parties. No gender discrimination. Politics was there. But during our final year,politics was banned.

Exam Structure

Exams were there in every month. Sessional exams were conducted on time. University exams also were as per the calendar.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

Navigating MACE: A student's journer Through Campus Life, Academics and Oppurtunities.

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for its autonomous status. This allows MACE to have more current and industry relevent curiculum unlike colleges with fixed university syllabus. Admission to MACE was based on keam rank. Although I had a good rank, it wasnt high enough to get my preferred branch in NIT calicut or CET. One of the best government aided college

I chose this college considering the distance from my home. Good facilities and the environment of the college. This college supports extracurricular activities.
