Techno Main Salt Lake - A change to future technology

I chose this course as information technology is related to coding and software related.There is also high demands of IT engineers in the market.The course curriculum is quite interesting and it includes data structures algorithm and computing mathematics. Faculty: Student ratio is 1:60. The teacher are well qualified and have pursued M.Tech degree and PhD.The teachers are very friendly and supportive.They teach the core concepts of the subjects and conducts viva and practical exam for revision purpose.The term exams are sometimes late conducted.It had moderate questions and students should revise every topics for getting good marks in exam.

Companies visit for giving intership to students. Companies like TCS , Wipro Infosys, Cognizant offer different roles like data science internship, consulting intern , marketing intern, sales associate intern etc.You should create proper innovative projects and acquire skills for getting intership.You can make projects like file zipper, map navigator ,text editor, binary search tree , data hygiene projects , account profile development,etc. It will enhance your job profile.

The placements of my college is very good. Several companies visit every year. Students become eligible for campus placement from 6th semester. More than 80 companies visit every year and they made approx 600 offers.Highest package is 58 lakhs from IT department and average package is 5 lakhs including all branches. More than 80% students got placed every year. I will do M.Tech after getting the Btech degree Or if I will get good package from a company I will join it.

The total fees for Information Technology branch in 2023 is 550000. You have to pay approx 70000 Rs. Per semester.There is increase in fees of 50000 every 2-3 years.There is Swami Vivekananda scholarship for West Bengal domicile students of 18000 per year.You have to get 60% marks in class 12.The companies like TCS , Wipro, Infosys ,Paytm, cognizant, Amazon etc visits in college and provides jobs to talented students.

The campus life is quite osm.There are 2 Play ground in which we can play football, cricket, badminton etc. There are are 4 canteen in my college.There is a swimming pool .There is much greenary in my college and it is very clean.Anakhronos is the annual fest of my college held in February.EDGE is the tech fest held in April month.There are several groups in my college Like GEEKONIS, ANKURAN ,SAMARTIANS ,TECNOTKARSH etc.These clubs are run by students and they provide various opportunities like robotics, debate, technical fests,quiz , sports etc.There are several course curriculum related books in library and they are available every time.They are also newspapers in college.The classroom have either air conditioner or fans.There are smart boards and green boards in classrooms.There are male and female bathroom and water filter on every floor.There are 3 building in campus.One is Techno India University, 2nd is Techno Main Salt Lake and 3rd building is for BCA department.

I was admitted to Techno Main Salt Lake through wbjee exam. My rank was 7863. I got allotment in 2nd round.I think the cut-off in the last round was 14731. For this course (IT) eligibility is to pass the 12th exam with 60% and the age should be greater than 17 years. You should take physics, chemistry and maths as compulsory subjects in class 12. You can find the application form for wbjee on the official website. The application fee is 500rs and application dates are in the month of December. The Wbjee exam is connected in April month. I have not availed reservation benefits because I am from another state. You need to apply for wbjee counseling after giving wbjee exam. The admission process was smooth. You need to verify documents during physical reporting in college.
