Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very much similar to that of IITs . The faculty student ratio is way much good. Faculties can be approached at any point ,they are very eager to help students ,most of them hold PhD degree from renowned institutes. Institute conducts 4 main exams per year 2 mid sem and 2 end term exams, students need to be focused bit in class and revise time to time to pass the exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure varies from course to course which can be checked from the official website.For btech course it takes 10 lakhs (approx) to complete the course from the institute and it's absolutely nominal for what institute is offering.If trying to get admission through OJEE counselling students can apply for TFW ,and for them the fees would be less from ordinary students
Campus Life
Silicon in for the students and by the students, campus life at silicon is excellent.For hostelites it's even more happening CCC club of silicon holds various events throughout the year and keep the thrill alive among the students. Talking about fests we can't forget about the the massive, the grand ,the ultimate annual fest of silicon that is ZYGON mostly takes place in March or april. It lasts for like 4-5 days with a lot of events taking place every then and now making it the unforgettable thing for the students in whole 4 years of engineering life .Well Silicon is no less in academics a lot of students crack Gate,Upsc and several known graduate level entrance exams every year which can be totally cracked up with the self studies from library filled with a lot of books.Also,all the rooms are centralised air conditioned making it comfortable for students.
Admission
Admission process of silicon institute of technology Bhubaneswar is very smooth . Students can take either direct admission or through OJEE counselling based on JEE Mains rank or OJEE rank.
