All the things were too good ,campus life was awesome

Course Curriculum Overview

All the faculty members are so excellent....i choose this course for building an it company...the faculties provide much facilities for us and they teach effectively...exams are too tough there were only 4 month for a semester

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were around 14000 per year...i got pragthi scholarship hence i could easily spend for those money for my hostel and collge...and there are many more placements for our branch and they got many campus jobs as well

Campus Life

The last tech fest was held in october where many more colleges attended...there is a big library and so many books to refer ...there were sports events as well...social.groups are nss ...literature club

Admission

I took keam entrance exam the application was throught the cee kerala portal and as my caste still i got merit seat...i joined for btec IT in govt engineering college hence it was so smooth for me for availing less fees

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
