- Friends: one the best things you get in college. They are the half reasons you come to college everyday.
- Society: societies help you make more friends other than your course and your age.
Dislikes
- Sports : As university doesn't allow students that doesn't have higher level of sports ( district, state or national).
- Hostel facility : there is no hostel facility provided by the college. The pgs cost is expensive for a student.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed this course as I am interested in business and I wanted to learn something new. Each faculty is best in there own way. But as I am a commerce student , the commerce faculty is really good. The ratio of students are quite satisfying. University has highly qualified teachers for every course and subject. Here teachers are very understanding and are ready to help every student at any time needed. There is six months semester and at the end of the semester there is a exam conducted to evaluate the students. And within 1 month results are out. It is not too difficult to pass the exam and not too easy that you can pass without even studying.
Internships Opportunities
Commerce stream has been dominating the other two streams science and arts by 74% in 2023 placement session. The major recruiters are Barclay, HCL, BCG, Bain and company, Deloitte, Genpact, ICICI bank , Wipro, kotak, and so on
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of my course is rs.9600, I think this amount for one year is quite satisfying. But the less fees doesn't really help as there is no hostel facility provided by my college only north campus has hostel facility. And if you opt for pgs it's quite expensive around college area. There is scholarship provided by University for good performing students. You have to just maintain the minimum cgpa that the university has put condition for scholarship. At the end of the three years course there is campus recruitment is held. Many companies come to the college for campus recruitment.
Campus Life
Every college of University has its own fest, where societies of different colleges showcase there talent and try to win. Every college of University has its own library and books are available for students for issue or you can just take the books to read there and after that you have to put back the books. For sports you have to be a sport or a national player. They don't give you place until you have played above school level. There are many societies for dance, music, social works , art etc. In my college there are societies like crunk for dance, miraaki for music, imagination for arts , SFS for social works etc.
Admission
Good evening, admission process for Delhi University (DU) for b.com course you have to give a entrance exam conducted by NTA " common University entrance test " also know as CUET. Eligibility for this course is, you have to give test for domain subjects that you had in class 12th. And University will evaluate your best four subjects. You can find the application on national testing agency (CUET). You have to pay fees according to your subject filled. After paying you will get you exam details before one week of exam. For general category, there is no benefits provided. University's cut off for course should be little lower for general category. And cutt off list should be released on the university site. No other changes I need to see in the admission process. Thank you.
