- I like how for important things such as scholarships and placements they offer help whenever needed. People at the admin office are so helpful and listen to every need of the student.
- The Campus is beautiful and student friendly. All student activities are fun and so interactive.
Dislikes
- Teachers not knowing when and how to help students.
- Academics being a huge deal and yet teachers teach those academics as if we know everything.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose IT because it was what I had chosen in diploma. Here not every faculty is the same. For example some teachers are quite rude and don't consider their mistakes. They just want to make the students suffer. Some teachers have favourites. Some teachers can't even teach properly, they only know how to read from ppt. In my case it has happened multiple times that the teacher didn't even know what they were teaching. This is the biggest problem here. Our HOD needs to realise that she isn't doing any good by having such teachers teach us. A whole course feels wasted when a certain teacher is teaching it. We do have some teachers who are really good and this review may be unfair to them. But majority of teachers are a disappointment. When it comes to grading exam papers we have to beg for marks that were cut because of something expected in the question which wasn't even taught in the class. If they expect lengthy and complicated answers from us they should also learn how to teach it.
Placement Experience
Placements are starting from 3rd year itself. We have finished first semester or 3rd year and only 1 company has come here for placements. It was a good opportunity but I hope there are more to come. Considering the recession its understandable on the number of companies. I hope the type of company become more versatile.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are offered to those who fit a ceratin criteria and that criteria usually is nulled by the how much our family earns. My parent earns a lot but we only get bare minimum in our hand due to rent, mess and loans. If this thing could be considered with scholarship then it would be great too.
Campus Life
We have a lot of student clubs and honestly I feel like we should have proper guidance on which one should be better for us. Our faculty have managed to ask students not to join ceratin clubs as it may not be something of use for their course development but they forgot to guide us after we decide to take their advice. If not this then what? I even asked my PTG about my issues. 1st time she listened carfuly and said she'll pitch the idea to HOD and 2nd meeting she forgot what I asked for and didn't even ask anyone or tell anyone in the first place. I really thought she would help me with this.
Admission
Admission process was done quite smoothly. Considering my previous experience it was pretty good here. Although they did take measurements for uniform but the Tailor was pretty uncooperative when students told them their issues with uniforms. And it was difficult to know when they were in the campus in the first place.
