- The college campus is huge including one main administrative block and one main library.
- Zero ragging around the whole campus, seniors are very friendly.
- The whole area is very clean. The college also offers 100% placements for all students.
Dislikes
- The course fees for economically weak students must be reduced a little more.
- There should more hostels for students near to the campus .
- Availaibility of good food is a very big problem here.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course cause I love to know about tech related things and explore them out. Faculty staffs are very nice , cooperative, polite and also very helpful..now if I talk about student ratio it is like 3:4.The faculty qualifications are very good enough and many of them have completed their bachelor's from reputed institutions. Still now didn't gave a single semester but the class tests were having average questions like not so hard not so easy too.
Placement Experience
From the 3rd year of your carrier life around after the second semester students are made eligible for campus placements. The companies that very often visits our college for campasing are Coognizant, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, TCS, Amazon, Google and many more companies. Around majority of students like 75% of students are getting their placements from HIT. My plans after getting the degree are that first I will proceed for an MBA course and then thinking to start my own IT company
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees is not so high its only around 4lacs for four years of course fee and if you rank in JEE mains or WBJEE thats different. If I talk about scholarships there is one scholarship that college offers for more details you have to contact to welfare department of the college
Campus Life
There is not much fests in our college but there is one main fest that comes once in a year ie."Riveria" which is conducted in January. There are more than thousands of books in our library..students are always welcome there to visit and read or issue there preferable books. Amenities like there is a big annex where the classes are taken by respected teachers. Different types of sports categories are available like cricket,football, hockey,badminton, tennis,table tennis etc and whatever you like is available.
Admission
For eligibility of the course I would like to say you need to score more than above 60 percent in your boards and good rank in WBJEEE. For applications and other details you have to must visit the college to get forms for admission,fees structure etc.No reservations are available for any category of students. For improvement I would say they should focus on student's merit before admission.
