because codding is my dream so i choose this course 60 students faculty and teaching review not to much good coz i expect too much from this collage but i cant get anything from my expectations exam is not easy or hard its depend to students

i m fresher student in this collage so i dont know about any fest in 3 months tlibrary is too much good and average all books are available here classroom is good but i expect from this collafe that thaere are 3d boards smart tv in lasrrom etc, but nothing is available here but classroom is good for study everything is fine but campus is too much greater than all oteher collages in west bengal campus is really good there are four pillors that is very famous in collage there so many social group clun or website for student like iste club ieee clun and csi club and many more clubs available in this collage

normal facility priovide in my room there are no smart tv no 3d boards my classroom is lookimg like a schhol classroom i live ib ranichak boys hostel this is best hostel for boys there are so many varities in meal veg,non veg all types are food available everydaty after admissiom hostel registrationis availabke before class start i paid 24000 rent for hostel room there are 3 beds , 3chair , 3 table and attached bathroom in room

i secured rank 6742 in west bengal joint entrance examination through i got computer science and engineering branch in haldia institute of technology My Cousins told me about this exam and suggest me some collage for best engineer life including this collage no benefits for other state domicile in west bengal , i also from jharkhand and i belongs to sc caste and no benefits gave me in this collage i dont know any improvwmwnt in admission process

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Okay, I've applied for 2-3 colleges(IEM Kolkata, Heritage Institute of Technology kolkata, Techno India Main Saltlake) alongwith HIT Haldia. But I choose this college because of mainly two reasons- 1)This is near my hometown. 6-7 km away from my house 2)My some school seniors are also studied here so they said me to take admission here Yes I've got rejection from many colleges also because my WBJEE and JEE main ranks are not so good. But I was selected to take admission i some colleges also but I didn't make that because of expensive fee structure and poor placements.
