Course Curriculum Overview
I choose electronics and Communication engineering because in this course we have two options we can either make our carrer electronic and Communication or we can go for coding part.In my class there are 60 students and we got 2 mentors . So the ratio would be 1:30.
Internships Opportunities
In this college you get many opportunities for internship from many companies like Infosys,haldia petroleum ltd,etc. In which they give you you some projects which you have to complete. The roles they gave might be assistant
Placement Experience
From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements.we get many companies like TCS , Mahindra,tata steel, Wipro , Infosys etc. About 75-85 percent students get placed every year .Last year we got 90% placement. Highest package inside the campus is 27 lakh and outsid it is 40 lakh.
Fees and Financial Aid
In this college you can also get scholarship. But I am from West Bengal so I got SVMCM scholarship which give more money then othe scholarship. I you are pursuing btech you can get 5000 rupees a month.
Campus Life
We get the annual fest after our semester exam get over .last year Asnner grover had come to our college.we have our aryabhatta library which is huge in which you can get every book you need for your course.
Hostel Facilities
In this college we have approx 11 hostels in which 2 are for girls and others are for boys.The most famous are Balaji ,Ranichak,p5 etc. In which I live in Balaji hostel . The rooms have good space for 4 people, in which we got bathroom attached. We got our separate beds,chairs,table etc. The meals are not so bad but I think it's better then others hostel.it cost 12000 for 6 month.
Admission
I took west bengal joint entrance exam (WBJEE). In which I got 15992 rank,and I took ECE for which the cut off was between 15000 to 23000 rank.The admission process was good , but if you ask me I would suggest to give the admission form in seperate rooms so that the room doesn't feel too conjusted.That's all otherwise the admission process was smooth.
