I choose this course because of my passion, some faculties are good and others are not good.student ratio is very low,most of the faculty are post graduate with mtech degree.but teaching method is good,

Fees hike policy is good,cost of study very low ,I have scholarship with kerala entrance 25000 thousand and another fee scholership I got from this college is only 7500 RS per year due rank below 15000

Campus Life

Civil lions is the annual fest conducted.motor show is tech fest conducted mostly in november.pleanty books and journals available, amenities in. Class room very bad, average sports and extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
