College which ceates Top Rank holders in Kerala

the college is located in a good city where you can get good coaching for civil service, GATE etc. The college enables you to get a good rank in exams. Even there are students who got 100 percent marks in semester exams. That is a great success of this college.

Admission to this college is through KEAM entrance examinations. Usually the exams are conducted in the month of April mostly 3rd week. My rank was 5000 and I chose this college as I saw a lot of top rank holders in BTech from this college. Also, the college is located in Trivandrum which is the best place for coaching.

The university is Kerala Technical University (KTU) . It enables students to think technically. Also, it provides students with great subject knowledge. But the schedule is really tight that students have to struggle a lot to study within the specified time.

The college provides the students with Internship details. They give notifications for the same. At least one internship will be conducted in college during summer vacation.

There is a placement cell working in college for placement purposes. The Placement cell provides the students with enough details regarding placement and other job opportunities. The college collaborates with Benz for a course called ADAMS. So the students can expect placement in such huge companies.

The college fest is named Aagneya. It's is a techno-cultural fest. Many celebrities participate in this fest every year. Inspire is another programme by the mechanical department which enables the poor children to acquire technical knowledge. Vaibhav is another programme which enables the differently-abled children to expose their talent.

Since it is a government institution fee is cheap. 8225/ yr. It is the cheapest fee structure we can expect for a Btech course. In addition, there will be registration fees , PTA fee, Exam fee etc. I think they are affordable comparing to other private institutes.

There are many scholarship facilities available. The students getting rank below 4000 are eligible for scholarships . Other scholarships include Merit cum means , e-grantz etc.

There are women students more than men in all branches excluding mechanical. Out o 60 the women will be 35 to 40 except in mechanical where a woman is from 0 to 5. The college encourages extra curricular activities such as sports arts etc. There is a fest called Sargam. Which is an art competition where students can explore their talents? Workshops are conducted by various groups like IEEE, ASME etc.

There are no hostel facilities for men. It is a great disadvantage. Students have to go for private hostels at their own risk. There is two women's hostel that the college provides. It is good and the students are happy with the mess and food. The atmosphere is good too.

The college has a good Alumni network. There is an alumni office in college. They offer financial support for the college too. They help students for placements and for conducting workshops.

The exams are semester based. There are a total of 8 semesters. Actually, the students won't get enough time to prepare. It is a tight schedule. Actually, semesters are meant to be for 6 months but students get only 3 and a half months. This is a disadvantage. Even if it is so the university provides the students with gaps in between exam dates so that they can study effectively.

After the KEAM results are published there is an allotment process. Upto 5 allotments will be there. We can give options to the required college. After we get admission we have to go to the college and take admission by remitting fee. Necessary documents are to be submitted.

Most of the faculties in this college are Ph.D. holders. A handsome number of faculties are from top-ranked institutes in Kerala like IITs. The main reason behind the success of students are these faculties. Many students emerge as rank holders from this college.
