Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I am interested in the field of IT and want to became a software engineer. The faculty is good but the not so better the student ratio is 1:63. The qualification of faculty is manily PhD and MSc in specific subjects. Teaching style is old but this is good and understand able . Terms exam are not on going on timing and it is medium difficult types questions.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees policy is increasing semester wise and the cost of study is not so well. There is no scholarship for other states ,and the government of the states provide the student credit card and some low interest loans on student.
Campus Life
Haldia institute of technology organisation there own fest called REVIRA FEST in month of January. In our library all types of book are available but they are very old edition and outdated, and all types of journals is also there in our college libraries. Basic amenities are present in our classroom like fans, Tube bulb,Table - chair, cahlk board ,etc . There is a alot of opportunities in field of sports and there is always trainer for students. There are many several groups like ISTE , CSI, IEEE,VEAD,HIT times , HITinside.There is no websites that run by students in HIT as paer I know .
Hostel Facilities
Given facilities in our hostel is like bed,mattress, pillow and a study table . Meal in our hostel mess is not so good for health it is so oily and unhygienic, but you will alot variety. Registration process for hostel is very lengthy and panic for students and parents also but affordability is pocket friendly.
Admission
The eligibility of this college is Firat to be Indian student and aggregated marks 60% in physics, chemistry and Maths.And in English 45% marks We have to find the application form by the site of offical site of wbjee and dates are also announced there Yes reservation is there for only west Bengal student not for other states students. I want to improve the councelling centre facilities that they are very far away from main cities.
