Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty members here are decent. All varieties of faculty are present here good as well as poor but ath the end they are very supportive and they will provide you the notes of their subjects in each and every topic
Internships Opportunities
For having much internship opportunities you have to develop your skills on your own . If you are from programming background then i wpuld recommend that you should learn app development and web development to get internship opportunities
Placement Experience
There are a lot of companies that visit this college . If we talk about the last year placement a total number of 127 companies visited in our campus and the average package was 5.12 LPA which os quite good but at the end all that matters in placement is skills of the student not eduactional but including the others aspect as well , if you are skilled well you can get a good package from here for sure.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee when i took the admission was 582900 for those who avail hostel facilities and 482900 for those who don't want to avail the hostel facilities. There is a scholarship program which is known as swami Vivekananda scholarship that is provided in this college but that is only available for west bengal residents
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college is pretty average the class room size is not that much big nor they have modern facilities in every classroom like smart board bench desks all they have is a table and a chair for each and every class students
Hostel Facilities
There are a lot of hostels in HIT and they are seperate for both boys and girls. For boys i would recommend that you should take Ranichak boys hostel. They serve us 3 time food and one time snach i.e. evening. Electricity bill is not included in the hostel fees its free of cost.
Admission
You have to score 45% aggregate in 12th boards examination and then you have to attempt wbjee in which you have to score a rank of around 10k to get the CSE branch In Haldia Institute of technology by reporting to the college.
