Bumpy ride

I would say it's average, it's not bad and no too good as it should be, but it's average and somewhat I would like to rate it good.

WBJEE, Rank - 19161. I choose this college because I heard about this college's IT branch, which is nice, it's also a techno India partnered college and this was the best option a student can get in this rank range.

Course curriculum is average not too bad, not too outstanding. It's average. A person can do a lot of research work if he/she wants to. Teachers are supportive. After 3rd semester, every semester end aptitude course, some technical course are provided by college itself. One can join them and increase there knowledge and it will add one more certificate for one's resume.

Yes, college does provide internship. Companies like Informatica, TCS and one company which is related to government, these came. Stipend was 20000 for undergraduate and 30000 for post graduate students. Intel came too and chose 2 students.

Placement opportunities are good for IT department and CSE department as well. Mechanical, Civil, all electrical departments are good too but placement wise, IT is the best department. Companies that came last year were, TCS, Infosys, Johnson Controls, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant etc. Placement was average 3.5lpa.

Avenir (tech fest) omputer games, mobile games, board games, treasure hunt etc. Mesmerizer - cultural event, mr and mrs fresher day, freshers fest. Inceptra - alumni event. Foundation day. Saraswati Puja. Tech fest for other departments, including robot soccer and much more events. Sports fest.

Feasibile not that expensive. 40000 per semester 1000 exam fees 1000 backlog fees (if any backlog) I think 40000 per semester is not that expensive, it's average, nowadays every college's fee structure is like this only. Every year college increases their feer by 1000 for newcomers only.

They provide scholarship to TFW students, there fees get as low as 1000 per semester and I don't know much about loan facility, but they do have a loan and scholarship facility.

There are hostel nearby, where I never stayed. I never wanted to stay there because college's locality is a bit dirty. Hotel's are Average or sometime's below average, food is average. PGs and hostels are kind of cheap here, 3000-4000 and student will be sorted. 3000-4000 will cover the hostel fees and food.

Chilled out exam structure. Not too hectic, if a student is attending his/her classes regularly, attending all the labs as per their routine, that students life will be smooth. Teachers are supportive, they provide sufficient time to every student so that they can finish their lab practicals files in time.

After I got my rank, I had to go to Jadavpur University and submit my details (10th result, 12th result and WBJEE Rank card and admit card). After submitting everything, they told me to go to college after a week. I went to college, again submitted by details (same as before) and paid the fees.

College faculty is average. Some are good, some are not good and some are great. Some teachers who are head of their departments are very good. Like IT department's HOD, he is good and he is the best HOD a student can ever get. Subject teachers are nice too.
