Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I really wanted to explore something more than computer science There are enough faculties in the department for each subject and most of them are well versed about it. Some of our faculty member have a PhD and others also are Mtech qualified and also had held key responsibilities. We have 2-3 internal exams after completing 1-2 modules and they put the paper in such a way that it benefits us for the university exams too
Internships Opportunities
Microsoft had recently given opportunities for internship to attain 50 activities points and sometimes they call mentors from outside who suggest us to attend certain internships and that's pretty much it. Normally student themselves volunteer for internships
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from 6th sem onwards. TCS , WIPRO, qvantel, qburst, experion technologies etc Almost 20-30 students are placed in these good companies. Percentage actually varies from time to time
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are quite negotiable If we compare with most private colleges , fees here is affordable I got in through management so my fees is a bit low compared to NRI quota If we get in through keam or jee exams , fees are deducted according and there are students from obc's and sc's who has to only pay very less accordingly
Campus Life
Every year we have either vipanchika or aaravam which is a 3 day celebration consisting of activities, dance , music and a celebrity entrance with live band performances from outside. We have a big tech fest Ingnious which is also a big event consisting of students attending from all over kerala. We have a very big library which consists of all the books needed for our course . Classroom facilities are pretty average but there is working projectors and whiteboard. Every year we have a 3 day sports day consisting of all kinds of sports and competitions. They also conduct d zone competitions In our college. We also have an active NSS group in our college where we actively take part in projects and activities
Hostel Facilities
There are 2 girls hostel and 2 seperate hostels for junior mens and senior mens . It's 3 person per room , so they provide 3 bed frames and a shelf to put ur stuff in. Bed and other necessities are available at the college store. The meals are usually good but some days it can be bad too. They change the menu if there are complaints or if changes are needed. The hostel registration process is done during admission process. Hostel fees are 3k per month. Pg rooms are almost available in Palissery or edakunnu.
Admission
Either through keam or grade 12 marks The application form is given during the college enrollment time and before joining the college they conduct an online induction program where they discuss more about it Admission process is done in quiet a good manner
