Likes

The Campus environment is very good and is a safe space.
The level of teaching is exceptional and cooperative.
I am surrounded by some of the most intellectual and beautiful brains of the country

Dislikes

The food in canteen is not so hygienic and good and is a bit spicy
The campus should be closed as there is a lot of unwanted traffic around the campus
Hostel seats should be increased as it is not enough for such a large number of students.

I choosed physics because it was my field of interest. the course offers a great space to learn both theoritical and practical physics. The faculty at Hansraj College , Dept of Physics is exceptionally good. Regular classes are held and internal test are taken at regular basis

Specifically I have not done any internship under the ame of my college.But I have done an Internship under the Department of Science and Technology Govt of India. I have done my Internship in Tulus Institute under Prof Balendra Pratap Singh on Doppler Effect

Placement Experience

The students from 5th semester becomes eligible for placements. Placements are held everyyear but only for specific departments/courses. Placements are generally for the students of computer science, commerce and economics honours. The average package ranges from 5-20 lakhspa. I will do MSC after graduation .

Fees and Financial Aid

From the university ,I haven't got any scholarship but I have one scholarship from the NSP . Noone from my friendcircle has also not recieve scholarship from college. The fees is a bit more and I think it should be uniform for the whole university

Campus Life

The fest season starts from October after Diwali and continues till May in which the annual college fest are held. Books are available in the library, Amenities in classroom are not upto mark but it is good. Sports equipments are there in every college . There are many social groups and societies for students that are run by students

Admission

We got admission based on our class 12th marks.We were the last batch to seek admission through this process.The cut off was bit high as we were from the covid batch and exam was not held during our time.

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Best college of DU for Mathematics

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game
