Is GITA a Good College?

You can choose your course based on your intrests. I choosed CSE AI&ML branch in B.Tech, cause I have intrest in computer and programing. there is 1 mentor for every 35 students. Faculty student ratio is kind of perfect. The faculties are well experienced having 10 to 15 years of teaching experiences. Most of the faculties have done PHD in their particular subjects. All faculty have their own teaching methods they know the way to make a student understand the topic. Quizes, class tests and surpise tests are done every month so the student always stays involved in study environment. Efforts were done to teach the conversation skills to a student, & activities are done to boost the confidence and vocabulary skill of an individual. The mid term examination is held in october while the semister is done in January. Since it is an autonomous college, the examinations are not that difficult so you can get good scores in your exams.

Many Companies have arrived to our college for internship and the internship program will start from 2nd year and maximum students are attending the internship training. Maximum of internships are besed on data analyst and data management. The internship plays a major role in placement season.

Students in 4th year i.e 7th semister are eligible for campus plaacements. companies like Infosys, Tata, Hexaware, Argusoft, Digit, Mediamint, Maventic, Cozentus, TCS, Capgemini, Devtron, Oditek, and more... have visited in the past years. 70-80 percent of the sudents are placed every year. The highest package is INR 9 LPA, and the lowest package is INR 3 LPA. I have plans to work in Google or microsoft like companies, after getting the degree.

fee structer for first year B-tech - 125000, M-tech - 80000 MCA - 185000 MBA - 190000 If you want to stay in hostel then you have to pay hostel fees of 65000, There is a scolarship counter in the college which provides the updates of various scolarships, throug mails or whatsapp messages to all individuals who are intrested and eligible for the scolarship exams. You can also get financial assistance on for exibitions, sports and games, or other fields where financial assistance is required. there is no internships provided through college you have to try offcapus. and also there is no job opertunities for 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year students, the campus selection is done in 4th year where you can get jobs of your choice only if you are enough talented and skilled.

The annual fest is usually conducted at March or April months of the year. Just like other colleges the functions involves dancing, singing, acting, and other intresting and entertaining activities. The library of GITA is spectacular and have all kind of books(like subject oriented books of different authors, novels of different writers, story books, biography & autobiograpy, skill development, etc..). Students are allowed to issue whatever books they like. And decipline is mendatory inside the library, which creates a wonderful study atmosphere. The campus also have a big field where games aand sports are conducted, a GYM, Music club, Canteens, Gardens, Indoor Badminton and Table Tennnis courts, sepatrate hostels for boys and girls. Cricket, badminton and volley ball are the top games played by most of the students. The college conducts games and sports tournaments eventually. Extra curricular activities like dancing, singing, music, writting, are also involved.

The hostels are quite good, boys and girls have separate hostels, all the hostels have good elictricity all the time, there is a mess for every hostel, also there are water filters available in every hostel and there is no water problem, and mainly the cleaning of living rooms, bathrooms, toilets are done regularly by workers. For safty and guidence a warden is present in every hostel. The quality of food is average, four times nonveg in a week, and for those who are vegitarians, veg food is available. Breakfast time is morning 7:00 AM , lunch at 2:00 PM and dinner is availabele at 8:00 pm every day. There is a specific menu which is followed every week. you can register for the hostel at the office by talking to the officials.

You can join the college through ojee or Jee counselling. If you have not apperared any of the examinations still you can get a seat in the college in whichever branch you want. There is no specific entrance exams to get admission in this college, if you have passed 12th with a minimum of 45% marks you can get a seat in the college. There is an official website where you can find the application form where you can apply for the admission or you can just come to the college and get admitted in offline way. the application fees is Rs. 1000. And the admission dates depends on the jee and ojee exam dates since the councling can be donly only after the exams are finished. Basically in July or August the admission process starts.
