On the month of November -December every departments conducts techfest associated with their engineering technologies.The library at Government Engineering College, Wayanad is well-stocked with a vast collection of books and journals. The library has a collection of over 35,000 books and 150 national and international journals in various disciplines of engineering and technology. The library also subscribes to online databases and e-journals, providing students and faculty with access to a wide range of resources from anywhere with an internet connection. The library is open to students from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm on all working days, and the staff is available to assist students with any queries related to the library's resources or services. Hostel Facilities
hostel facility: the government engineering college in wayanad provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The hostels are well-maintained and equipped with all the necessary amenities such as study rooms, common rooms, mess halls, and laundry facilities. Each room is furnished with a bed, a table, a chair, and a cupboard for storage. The rooms are shared by two to four students, and there are separate bathrooms and toilets for each block. room facilities: the rooms are spacious and airy, with proper ventilation and natural light. The beds are comfortable, and the mattresses are provided with mosquito nets. The rooms have fans and electricity points for charging devices. The cupboards are sturdy and provide ample storage space. meal quality & menu: the mess hall serves vegetarian meals thrice a day. The food is hygienic, nutritious, and tasty. The menu includes a variety of south indian dishes such as rice, sambar, rasam, chutney, curry, and chapati. Non-vegetarian.
