Remarks

College life is indeed a journey. You meet numerous special people along the way. It is funny how the person you hated the most end up being your soulmate at the end. And the person whom you envied the most gets jealous of your achievements. It is a cocktail, with blend of memories, love and friendship and a touch of emotions and dreams. College life is in fact amazing.

Entrance Preview

I am an NRI student. So I didn't have to write an entrance exam. However I had to attend a bridge course to revise the subjects I had learnt earlier. I love everything related to computers and that's why I chose IT

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is indeed very interesting. In fact, it was much above my expectations. I've learnt C programming, shell, pearl, java etc in practical labs. I am now hundred percent confident to write down these skills in my resume since I have gained practical experience in those languages.

Internships Opportunities

We haven't been informed about internship. There was once a test conducted by a company for selecting a few talented students to work on a project and get paid. no one qualified in it.

Placement Experience

2

As far as I am concerned, placement interviewers at our college is very rare. Those who have got into good companies were applied separately by the individuals. The College has no role in this. There is however classes regarding placement and job trips, seminars etc.

College Events

4.5

The campus is packed with colourful programmes. Starting from arts, sports and tech fests to name, ID and mehndi fests, the list continues. The military based sports"TRIBUTE TO INDIAN ARMY" was one of the best and was a famous in the social media.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Even as a NRI Student I only have to pay 61000 per year which I think is quite affordable. Also I have received a scholarship worth 25000. So fees is very affordable and it is worth paying the fees for the numerous facilities that they offer. There is WIFI facilities, computers canteen and a well equipped store. We are also provided with printers in our lab to print out the document free of charge.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, I have applied and received MOMA scholarship worth 25,000. The College had made the necessary arrangements need for the application such as providing facilities to print the document as well as to take photocopies. Also we are informed regarding the important dates for renewing the scholarship as well as for applying online.

Campus Life

4.5

Of course. The college have helped me unleash the inner me. It has empowered my communication skills as well as presenting skills. I have overcame my stage fear as well that of public speaking. I have realised my programming skills and my leadership skills. I am now an active extrovert, a complete change from being a quiet introvert.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Don't know much details about the price. However hostel life is something to cherish. they are provided good quality food and accommodation. Each room has three beds. Also water and electricity facilities are provided. There are certain rules for the safety and security of the students. Hostel day is conducted every year to bring out the talents of the students.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni Association at our college seems to be very weak. Apart from my relatives, I have no club of those who've studied or passed out before me. The College doesn't provide any platform to help us mingle wit the seniors or juniors. Nor does it allow freshers day at the start of the academic year.

Exam Structure

It isn't tiring, nor is it a chill culture. We are given what is necessary. Some may find class tests, module exams followed by series quite tiring. But it has in fact helped us when revising for the final exams. the chapters seems familiar and consequently becomes very easy to learn and memorise. The seminars, assignments also have been quite helpful. You learn more when you are teaching someone and the seminars are therefore very necessary.

Faculty

4

Standard of teaching cannot be generalised since there are teachers of different ability. However they are all working towards giving us the best in every possible way. The classes are taken in several interesting ways and using black board and smart board. They are trying their best to improve our academic scores by providing us with study materials as well as persuading us to refer the textbooks whenever possible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance. The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies. The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
