It's actually hard for me to explain

College is ragging free seniors and juniors have no issues in between. Faculties are pleasant but the new education system is making college students Less social being they are trying to control us like kinder garden students. Students don't get any time to interact.. we don't have intervals in between class hours. Morning and afternoon sessions are 3 hours without break. sometimes I feel like I am studying in the best college ever but sometimes college life sucks.

I appeared for keam 2015...got rank of 28727...before joining at thalassery I had a one week bsc computer science experience in devagiri college calicut actually my parents compelled me to study btech.

I am studying in information technology department. Here studies are based on theories. and less importance is given to practicals. Students are poor in coding. We are provided with elective subjects as well.

No internships were provided by the college. We are on our own in it.

Wipro, hcl, ibm etc are the major companies visited our campus. The Placement percentage is very less And is decreasing per year.

We have onam Christmas and bakrid celebrations. College union inauguration day. Arts day, Tech fest and college Day but we don't have a sports day.

Fee structure is affordable as I am in a middle class family. 40000rs per year

I had 2 years of hostel life. We used to share our rooms. Most of our friends are day scholars and rest of them are hostelers.. I don't know about any PGs in our college. food is from college canteen. I don't like the food there it is unhealthy.

We don't even know about the alumni of our college.

It is actually hectic, conventional methods should be changed.

Permanent staffs are well qualified and experienced. Most of our teachers are youngsters who came to teaching field just after their mtech degree. but they are very pleasant and interactive. KTU ( APJ ABDUL KALAM UNIVERSITY) is such An utter failure. They came up with lots of promises. their methods are not much different than the old ones.
