The overall college for me has been a place where I learnt a lot from teachers, Seniors and most importantly from my classmates. As the cutoff for all courses are all above 90% so in general the college crowd is of same level and thus a highly competitive environment is faced by us . The college is developing more on it's infrastructure but other than this the labs are well equipped for us to have exposure to maximum practical knowledge of course related matters. Being a biomedical science student my college provides me with immense opportunities either it be research related projects or lab visits . For me, the college has helped in thinking out of the box in academics and several societies help to nurture the special talents amongst us .

ANDC take admission based on cut off percentage.My course had a cut off of 96 % and I was able to get admission based on my 12 th marks. The reason for choosing biomedical science was because of the varied syllabus of this course , and most importantly it deals with subject like pharmacology, toxicology, pathology, biophysics and many more that are interesting in themselves . This course seems to me a bit different from normal biology course of botany , zoology because it gave exposure more with respect to medical world and that sections of biology that goes with logics and reasoning .

The course I have chosen is the best in the whole University with respect to being a biological course. This is a research-oriented course and the best part of the college is the way we are offered to perform short-term summer projects ELLITE and even other trainings like IEDC , DU INNOVATION that helps us boost the practical knowledge along with the theoretical ones. Moreover, the opportunity to us are such that we get exposure to national laboratories like IGIB , NII for short projects or training that help us feel the real environment of research even at undergraduate level.

Yes college itself has a short 2 month Summer internship ELLITE program ,with a fellowship of 1000 per month. Besides the University offer IEDC and DU INNOVATION that is at University level and stipend of 1000 per month is given for the same , and these project continue for 1 yr almost.

No placement is being offered for biomedical science . Other courses like chemistry , physical science , maths , physics has placement from several companies.

Each yr a college fest LEOTHRIX is being organized with combined efforts of all departments . The fest hosts several events academic as well as non-academics and has participation from several college. Besides these each department has their own fest with several activities held throughout the yr .like our department has its own fest named CATHEXIS.

The fees for Bsc biomedical sc is 22000 per yr.Although other courses are still cheaper with yearly fee if around 10000 per year . College offers 3 yr graduate course and so the fees are paid each yr.

Yes college provide scholarship to the needy ones and also to those with good academic background. Yes I avail scholarship as I was the class topper so as a remark of appreciation they provide scholarship

College has one of the best drama society DHWANI , even the dance singing society is good. It has other clubs like eco club , think lab society for small self initiated research , NSS society , and even Enterpreneurship development cell .

College don't have any hostel facility . PGs are preferred in this area

Yes there are frequent alumni meet held each year where we get to interact with the seniors and get to know what they are pursing and which way to decide our career .other than this Seniors visiting college on regular basis helps to know more about the opportunities for us.

The lab and class schedule till 5 makes us sometimes tired but the enthusiasm to learn new and interesting thing each day keep us going.

The faculty are the best amongst themselves .They believe in practical rather than theoretical knowledge and help us with their initiative to make Maximum use of all available instruments . Regular test and assessment are done by them to keep a regular check on our performance and even they help students personally in case we are stuck at any topic .
