I appeared for JEE MAINS entrance for the admission in any of the engineering college. So I was allotted this college by the cap round list. There was no interview. Currently I am persuing chemical engineering course, as I was interested in chemistry since my high school ,so I chose this course.

The course is well designed. However the from the name it seems to be the branch which deals fully with the chemistry. But there's nothing like that. There is good focus on practicals. No any Research initiative is taken, but the practicals are taken regularly.

No, it's been 3 years for me to be in the college, till my 3rd year, college doesn't provide any internship on their reference. But it is strictly compulsory for us to do an internship. Haven't done any of the internship yet so not knowing about the experience.

Students who have high grades obtained in the university exams, only those students are placed through college. The percentage students placed are too less i.e around 40-50%. There are very few companies visiting the college for the placement for chemical engineering branch. None among them is a MNC or any big chemical industry. The Average package obtained is about 3.5 LPA.

There are various types of programs held in campus. Generally the technical I& non technical events. Cultural program is held every year. It is named as MRUDANG. The fests are huge. The footfall is about 3k. The college provides good facilities for it. The entries are strictly for the pass holders.

Yes. They provide Earn and learn scholarship They also provide the category wise scholarship for the students belonging to category. The scholarship is also available for the open category students called EBC. the college helps in withdrawing the Educational loans. I mean to issue a fee structure. But the admin office lacks the man power for the official works.

There are somewhat extracurriculars held in the college. Technical & nontechnical Events are held regularly in the college, but generally in the months of January and February.

The DYP group have established 2 boys hostel for the bulk quantity of the students studying at DYP institutes. Anyone can get admitted to any of the two hostels. Very Few number of students reside at the College hostel. Because of its high fees. The Fee is approx. 1.2 lakhs annually including mess charges.

The college isn't having any platform for the students alumni interaction. There isn't anything like alumni network provided by the College. We need to interact with the alumnus of our college on our own. So we aren't having much experience about it. But the college is supposed to provide such facilities.

The exams are quite frequently held enough to make us feel tired. The labs are somewhat chilled. As the engineering field deals with loads of assignments, practicals,exams, etc. So we need to manage to the inflexible routine. The exams are carried out strict.

Faculty are not practically experienced except some. Many of the faculties are newly recruited which are somewhat lacking at the confidence to face the students. Some of them are friendly whereas some are quite strict to handle. The teaching standard is mediocre.
