Course Curriculum Overview

Keam exam is not that hard but the speed matters. Focus on the speed so that you can reach a cut off of 400 above it can help you a lot. Maximum go for correct answers because negative marks is there .

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Overall review is good . There pros and cons . But for a passionate student who can achieve their career by putting self effort with cut off nearly 7000 in keam can go for this option. And our college comes under ihrd(institute of human resource development).

Aiming for campus placement.After completing one year would like to go for masters in foreign countries . (MBA,Mtech). If we are active and highly skilled for sure you will be placed in higher packages . off campus drive also available good tpc unit is provided by the College.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship for me .But there are several scholarship for other categories.Also there are several scholarship based on your grades in higher secondary examination under specific eligibility criteria.

Campus Life

Active Ieee cell ,nss,Iedc,foces clubs are present.Students can easily enroll to these forums and can develop their skills.Websites are created by the students if any technical event is conducted by the College.

Hostel Facilities

3 hostel is provided by college for girls. The hostels are nearby the college itself.hostel life is average not so good .PG is also available you can opt as oer your wish . Locality is good not so rich but essentials are easily available.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Cut off off is nearly 7000 last year for computer science and engineering. Admission process is held by cee as per their rules and norms. Management seats are available also based on rank.Fees structure for management seats is annually 70k .

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

THE COLLEGE ONLY FOR STUDIES .
