Entrance Preview

I wrote my kerala common entrance exam in which i scored 76 marks. I opted this college as it was a self financind college which had a strong intention to make and ensure the student study and work hard.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was tough as we are the first batch of KTU. It was horrible for fresher of the batch. No proper ideas on the text as it was everything on progress and we are going on an assumption of our syllabus .

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like tcs, amazon, flipkart ,tech mahindra, reliance, federal bank and many much more recruit from our college and i am a fresher hence i dont know about internshps.

Placement Experience

Placement here is awesome and job opportunities are highly enough. They only recruite able students and companies belief bring these companies again to us.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many scholarships are being ofered for proficiecy as well as backwards hence ensuring education is given for the best of all.

Campus Life

Many programs by IEEE , SAE, NSS and many more. We have a good campus life as well as a robotic club functions here extremely well,initiating our brains and helping to develop ideas.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I had applied for this course in several colleges in banglore and other places. The reason which hold me here is the course affordability and good infrastructure provided by this college. This college offers BTech artificial intelligence and Data Science at the rate of 98500 per year as tution fees while other colleges offer this same course around 200000 tution fee per year which is a better reason for studying this college. The college also provide scholarships for students on the basis of their plus two marks and keam ranks which will cover their entire tuition fee which helps the students to study in a cost effective way and also increase the quality of education.
