Remarks

The culture the college has very good. The social life is great for me. Academic life is a bit boring. The campus is pretty much sorted and nothing to complain about. Everything else about the campus and college is satisfactory. Great in every parameter. The campus area is not too vast but is optimised well as needed for an engineering college. The things we gained from the college can't be spelled in words. The college is strict in academics but so fine and perfect on its own

Entrance Preview

JEE was the Entrance exam i appeared for. I got admission through DTE cap round process. No interview process as such. My Interest in the technology made me choose the course I'm currently in.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course is good but not the branch. The focus on practical learning is very less compared to theory. As the professional field the need of practical knowledge in the corporate world a is very high & precise.. No research initiatives have been taken by the college as of now.

Internships Opportunities

The college Did not provide the internship for all the students. Very few students got the chance to do an internship. It shouldn't be like that. Everyone who wish to do an internship is supposed to get a chance to do internship. Don't know specifically about the stipend provided to them .

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement scenario is pretty good. The percent students getting placed is 60% or more maybe. Many major companies do visit. Like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, HP , eyc. The Average package provided is 3.5 lakhs per annum.

College Events

4.5

Gandharva is the cultural event, which is very well known all around. And the perception is the technical event in which various technological events are held like roborace n all. The average Footfall Is around 5000-8000. Not much contribution from college. The college contribution is needed to increased a lot . Now as of the college is just partially involved in the fests and other events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is too expensive as per me. 1,22,000 is the fees which is more I think . Plus extra amount they collect for insensible reasons. The fee could be less and would have worked for the college. So yes I think the fee is too much, hence making it unaffordable but need to pay the fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

They do provide scholarships. For the opens category students EBC is provided where again the conditions are applied. And for all other categories the scholarships provided are Samaj Kalyan scholarships.

Campus Life

4

It is very good in extra curricular activities along with the academics hand in hand . Good opportunities & ample Facilities for everyone are provided to explore our inner are also great. The facilities provided are good enough.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

College is having the hostel provision . Hostel rooms aren't provided to single I. They are on sharing. Hostel are not that great. There aren't any PGs . Even the hotel fees are expensive. The Food is just a better option.

Alumni/Alumna

Very less interaction with the alumni or even the recent pass out batch of the college. The college does not provide a proper platform & look upon the similar kind of things. Actually the alumni interaction of one among the most important thing for the current students. Because they contribute very much in the development of the students & college as well.

Exam Structure

Tiring culture. The exams are really frequent which make up damn tired. We give the exams every alternate week. And not just the exams, along with it comes the assignments, projects, codes, mini projects and blah blah blah... These makes us feel tired.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is qualified enough to teach . Not much interactive. Standard of teaching is average. Not very different or interesting. They keep us telling the thing which is given & described in the book. Nothing fruitful comes from there side.

During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
