A journey worth sharing

The college need to pay attention on the placement related issues. The college should aim to invite more & companies to recruit the students.

I'm a diploma holder student. Completed my diploma in mechanical engineering in the year 2017 & was admitted to the college by the cap round process. I landed in this college as I was allotted this college in the cap round. There was no interview taken. I was interested in mechanical related things since early school days , even my father suggested me to do the same.

The course is outstanding. It is worth the importance given to it as it is referred as one among the most important and core branch in the engineering fields. There is optimum focus of the practicals. As the mechanical engineers are supposed to have proper knowledge about the practical experience, the course is designed accordingly. I don't think that any research initiative would have taken by the college.

I have not done any internship yet. But I'm looking forward to get any. Although Internships are provided in the college. Many of the students have got it done with the help of the college initiatives. The stipend I guess is around 4k.

The college is not much good at providing the placements. The percentage of students getting placed is really a disappointment. TCS is the major recruiters and the average pack is around INR 3 lakhs but the highest package was INR 12 lakhs in IT department,

There is a big cultural program held in the months of January . The cultural program is an outstanding event. Everyone enjoys here by attending & participating it as well.

The college fees are quite high making it a bit affordable. As the engineering courses are highly paid courses everywhere, the fees here are also little high which was supposed to be slightly low. Wet need to pay around 90 k annually and many a times we need to pay the whole fee at once which is quite difficult.

Course fee for a year is about Rs 90k per annum. Scholarship is applicable to those student which comes under SC , NT , OBC category. Yes the college help in getting the educational loan from the respective banks.

The college's performance in extracurricular activities is remarkable. The Institute makes all out efforts to bring-out the hidden talents of the students and nourish in them leadership qualities, excellent communication skills and a developed personality, so that they grow up as professionals of global standards to flourish in professional career.

Yes the college provides the hostel facility. I don't reside at the college hostel as the fees are little high. Which will drag us a better facility and a better place to leave in less money than that of hostel. The rooms are on sharing and no single rooms are provided. No there is no PG provided. The hostel fee is around 60 k to 70 k annually. The food quality is average.

the alumni network is good. The college provides somehow the platform to interact with the former students of our college. They help us know about the practical Life experiences they get . It feels proud seeing someone of our college who has achieved something with a good success.

No not the practical which makes us tired. But the exam surely does. Along with the exams we are also given plenty of written works that are the assignments, practical files, sheets , etc. Which are really hard things to do in the very short time we get after college. The lab experiences are good n get to learn many things from this. The exams are disciplined.

The faculties here are well qualified & moderately experienced. Most of the teaching faculties are M Tech or PhD degree holders. However some of them are new in teaching which makes a little compromise in the teaching . But apart from these things the teachers try their best to serve the best they have. They are very much interactive and willing to solve students queries. The overall teaching standard is mediocre.
